Things to Know

When and where does the market take place?
The Oakland Vintage Market takes place the first Saturday of every month from 10:00am - 3:00pm and it’s located at 222 Jefferson St in Oakland. 

Does it cost to attend the market?
Admission is free!

Are all children and pets allowed?
Pets and children are welcome at the market. We ask that you keep a close eye on small children and pets as there are highly breakable items at the market.

Is the market wheelchair accessible?
Yes, the market is at ground level with no stairs but the pavement condition is inconsistent and there are some potholes to look out for!

Will there be food and beverages available for purchase?
Our food and beverage vendors rotate, but there is always at least one food vendor.

What types of payment are accepted at the market?
In addition to cash payments, Venmo, Zelle, and Apple Pay are a few other safe forms of payment that most vendors accept.

Are there bathrooms?
Public restrooms can be found around the corner inside Narrative (590 2nd St) and at World Market (101 Clay St) across the street from Narrative.

Where can I park?
There is ample street parking available on Jefferson St and its surrounding streets. Please note that most street parking in the area has a limit of 2 hours and parking enforcement will ticket. There is also a parking garage one block away at the corner of 2nd & Clay.

Can I take public transportation?
You can take the ferry to the Oakland Ferry Terminal (10 Clay St) and walk to the market (222 Jefferson St). You can also take the bus to the 2nd St & Washington St stop.

Weather Cancellations

What happens if it rains?
In the event of rain, the market will be pushed to the following Saturday, weather permitting. The market rollover will be announced on our Instagram so be sure to follow
